Where were they before JAMY?

This wasn't a business that needed help finding work. They were already well established, with a good name, steady leads coming in and surveyors who knew exactly what they were doing.

The problem was the one I hear from established firms all the time: there was more work coming in than there were hours to deal with it. When your surveyors are out on inspections all day and writing up L2s and L3s in the evening, enquiries sit. Quotes go out late. Follow-ups get forgotten. And buyers who have contacted three or four surveyors at once will book with whoever gets back to them first.

When I was growing a surveying firm from 3 people to over 60, this was the bit that always caused us the most headaches. Good leads weren't being lost to better surveyors. They were being lost because nobody had picked up the phone in time.

What did JAMY do?

The firm was given their own three-person JAMY team, led by an Account Manager, working under the firm's own name and prices. In practice, that meant:

  • Every enquiry answered and called back, whether it came from a lead provider, the website or a referral
  • Quotes sent and followed up, using the firm's agreed prices
  • Appointments booked and property access arranged with agents and vendors
  • Every lead and booking kept up to date in the CRM, so the firm can see exactly where each enquiry stands

We don't procure leads. Our job is converting the leads you already have. For a firm this size, that's where the growth was hiding. You can read more about how this works on our lead management for surveyors page.

What were the results?

Over 1,700 jobs and £1.1 million in survey income. Between November 2024 and September 2026, our team booked 1,712 survey jobs for the firm.

More jobs in nine months than in the whole of last year. From January to September 2026, the firm booked 823 jobs. In the whole of 2025, it was 802.

Up 31% on jobs and 38% on survey income. Comparing January to September 2026 with the same months in 2025, jobs went from 628 to 823 and survey income went from £394,000 to £542,000.

The first 100-job months. The firm passed 100 jobs in a month in March 2026 (108), again in April (101) and again in July, its best month so far, with 110 jobs and £75,700 in survey income.

Call volumes up by around half. Our team averaged about 560 calls a month in 2025. In 2026 that's risen to around 830 a month, with more than 1,000 calls in each of July and September.

Why did it work?

More leads only turn into more jobs if someone is there to deal with them. As the firm's enquiries grew, our team grew its call handling alongside them, so the extra demand turned into booked jobs and not a longer to-do list.

The other part is consistency. Every enquiry gets the same process: a quick response, a proper quote, a follow-up, and a booking that fits the surveyor's diary. Nothing depends on someone finding a spare ten minutes between inspections. (Our diary management and property access page has more on how we handle bookings.)

Is your firm in a similar position?

If you're already busy, with leads coming in but not enough hours to get back to all of them, that's exactly the gap JAMY fills. We'd love to have a chat and see where you're losing jobs at the moment.

FAQs

Can JAMY help a surveying firm that's already established?

Yes. Many of the firms we support were already well established when they came to us. They had the leads but not the capacity to answer and follow up every one. This firm went from about 67 jobs a month in 2025 to about 91 a month in 2026.

Does JAMY find leads for surveyors?

Our focus is converting the leads you already have, from lead providers, your website and referrals. We also set up lead referral sites, and from the Growth Pack upwards you get a partnership manager to help secure referrals.

Will clients know they're talking to JAMY?

No. Your JAMY team works under your business name, using your prices and processes.
